Onboarding Manager

About the role

BitGo is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Onboarding Manager to own and drive the client onboarding function for its MAS‑regulated Singapore entity. Reporting to the APAC Managing Director, you will manage the full client lifecycle—from onboarding and ongoing due diligence to periodic reviews and off‑boarding—while mentoring an Onboarding Associate.

Key responsibilities

• Review and progress onboarding applications end‑to‑end, ensuring high execution quality, robust documentation and timely completion.
• Manage onboarding queues, prioritize cases, and coordinate with Sales, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Operations and Compliance to move clients through the process efficiently.
• Define, improve and document onboarding processes, workflows, controls and operating standards, and track metrics such as turnaround time and backlog aging.
• Own client off‑boarding, including sanctions‑driven terminations, dormant account closures and coordination of account wind‑down.
• Support external audits and regulatory examinations by producing onboarding and CDD files, participating in walkthroughs and remediating findings.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in client onboarding, KYB/AML operations, financial crime or related functions within fintech, digital assets or payments.
• Strong knowledge of MAS regulatory requirements around KYB, corporate structures, beneficial ownership and AML onboarding.
• Proven ability to manage escalations, make decisions in ambiguous situations and work cross‑functionally with Sales, Operations, Compliance and other teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with commercial awareness to balance risk and client experience.
