Operations Management Trainee – 6‑Month Program

About the role

Join foodpanda’s fast‑growing operations team in Singapore as an Operations Management Trainee. Over a six‑month period you will gain hands‑on experience overseeing warehouse and facility functions while supporting safety and compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
• Maintain and upkeep company facilities across all warehouses.
• Manage annual electrical licensing and renewal of other required permits.
• Source contractors, obtain quotations, and review maintenance contracts.
• Handle A&A works, renovation projects and, where applicable, SFA licensing applications.
• Proactively recommend and implement operational improvements.
• Manage Workplace Safety & Health procedures, conduct periodic risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate routine facility maintenance and escalate issues to the Realty Facility Manager.
• Ensure warehouse housekeeping and workplace safety.
• Perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Facility‑related diploma or relevant certification.
• Fire safety manager and Workplace Health Safety certificates are advantageous.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with safety, health and environmental regulations in real‑estate/property management.
