People Operations Executive

About the role

Lucence is seeking a curious, hands‑on People Operations Executive to own and streamline HR processes across the full employee lifecycle. You will work onsite, partnering with HR, IT, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement through technology and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment: job postings, screening, interview coordination, offers, and hiring administration.
• Coordinate work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations.
• Lead new‑hire onboarding, including welcome sessions, culture introduction, first‑week logistics, and IT setup.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR queries, benefits, and policy guidance.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and HRIS data.
• Conduct and track exit interviews, providing insights for retention.
• Support HR audits, reporting, and compliance with employment regulations.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to HR systems and workflows.
• Assist payroll preparation, audits, tax reporting, and compliance checks.
• Help administer performance review cycles and compensation processes.
• Oversee office and pantry management, ensuring a functional workplace.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day IT support with external vendors and maintain device inventory.
• Manage procurement workflows, raise purchase orders, track expenses, and liaise with finance and vendors.
• Support workplace safety, maintenance scheduling, and facilities coordination.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of HR experience or a recent graduate eager to build end‑to‑end HR expertise.
• Hands‑on, problem‑solver mindset with a passion for process improvement.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees and external partners.
