Performance Business Finance Controller

About the role

Join Schneider Electric’s dynamic finance team as a Performance Business Finance Controller. You will lead accounting operations, drive strategic financial planning and support the Cluster’s performance analysis across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to Cluster strategic planning and define general guidelines and templates.
• Conduct financial simulations, support quarterly forecasts and drive monthly performance analysis.
• Ensure orders and sales are correctly classified, lead gross‑margin analysis and follow‑up with plants.
• Monitor Year‑to‑Go reasonability, identify action plans and work closely with Business Finance teams on market and pricing evolution.
• Prepare and present monthly business reviews, support period‑end closing and validate closing activities.
• Act as Single Point of Contact for Business Finance CoCe, managing stakeholder requests and ensuring global standard application.
• Assess and simplify existing processes, initiate change requests and support digital transformation initiatives.
• Oversee comprehensive accounting operations including accounts payable, cost accounting and financial reporting.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in finance and performance analysis roles.
• Proven track record of operational efficiency and performance improvement in an international context.
• Experience with financial management and performance systems in a multi‑business corporate environment.
• Background in international business transformation and change‑management projects.

Required skills

• ERP systems – SAP or Oracle.
• Data‑visualisation and BI tools – Tableau, DFL, BFO, EPM, Opus.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
