About the role

Join the core team responsible for the performance and experience of TikTok LIVE. You will own the end‑to‑end performance journey, shaping how billions of users discover, watch, and create live streams across diverse network and device environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead systematic optimization of live streaming performance, covering distribution quality, room entry conversion, and viewer experience.
• Improve the go‑live flow, conversion rates, and stability for high‑traffic events.
• Design and maintain an end‑to‑end performance metrics framework and diagnostic system.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with R&D, product, operations, and infrastructure to address complex performance challenges.
• Drive high‑impact projects that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong architectural mindset with experience solving large‑scale performance problems.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑domain technical initiatives and influence stakeholders.
• Data‑driven decision‑making and systematic problem‑solving skills.
