Perfumer

About the role

Cosmo International Fragrances is seeking a creative and technically minded Perfumer to join its Singapore fragrance team. You will translate customer briefs into high‑performing fragrance solutions across fine fragrance, home care, personal care and laundry care for international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Create, modify and optimise fragrance formulations in line with briefs, cost targets and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate fragrance submissions, benchmark products and recommend olfactive improvements.
• Support daily laboratory workflow, compounding activities, inventory management and equipment maintenance.
• Conduct olfactive quality checks on raw materials and finished products, investigating any quality issues.
• Coordinate projects from customer request through final submission, maintaining accurate documentation and timelines.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, production, purchasing and global fragrance teams to meet customer deadlines.
• Monitor market trends, new raw materials and participate in trade‑show activities to drive innovation.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of experience working with an international evaluation team.
• Strong knowledge of fragrance libraries and ability to translate briefs into viable concepts.
• Excellent communication skills for customer presentations and cross‑functional collaboration.
