Physiotherapy Associate (PTA)

About the role

The Physiotherapy Associate will support the physiotherapy team in delivering high‑quality rehabilitation services, ensuring patient safety and smooth clinic operations. This role involves both clinical assistance during assessments and treatments, as well as administrative duties to keep the therapy centre running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the physiotherapist during initial assessments, accurately documenting findings and patient information.
• Deliver prescribed physiotherapy treatments under direct or indirect supervision, monitoring patient progress and recording any changes.
• Maintain comprehensive therapy records and conduct patient satisfaction surveys after treatment completion.
• Manage daily caseloads, prepare client schedules, and perform stock checks of rehabilitation equipment.
• Carry out equipment maintenance checks, report damaged items, and coordinate bi‑annual servicing of electrical therapy equipment.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor of Physiotherapy (foreign‑trained acceptable).
• At least six months of local work experience in musculoskeletal community settings.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, MS Excel) is an advantage.
