Planner II – Demand & Production Planning

About the role

The Planner II will act as the primary interface with customers for demand planning and shipment information. The role focuses on creating feasible operational plans, executing them, and continuously improving planning performance to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize Jabil liability.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units and customers to develop a joint demand plan using the Demand Management Process.
• Create a Master Schedule by analyzing material and capacity requirements and load it into Jabil’s ERP system.
• Maintain a realistic production plan and work closely with operations to ensure successful execution.
• Develop revenue forecasts, monitor actual performance, and initiate corrective actions when targets are at risk.
• Track planning metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to company security policies and procedural rules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 1‑2 years of materials‑related experience, or a Master’s degree without experience.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to interpret technical documents, write routine reports, and present to groups.
• Basic algebra, geometry, and arithmetic calculation skills.

Required skills

• Thorough knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience with Jabil’s software packages.
• Advanced PC skills, including proficiency with standard office applications.
