Procurement Specialist (Non-Tech) – Banking Maternity Cover

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist (Non‑Tech) to support a banking client on a maternity‑cover basis. The role will manage the full procurement lifecycle for non‑technology categories across Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes, from sourcing and RFx creation to contract execution and supplier management.
• Lead sourcing activities for categories such as Sales & Marketing, Events, Creative Agencies, Corporate Services and Facilities Management.
• Develop sourcing strategies, conduct market analysis and deliver cost‑effective solutions.
• Run RFQ/RFP/RFI exercises, evaluate suppliers and provide commercial recommendations.
• Negotiate pricing, service levels, contracts and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Risk, Compliance and business stakeholders throughout the procurement cycle.
• Ensure all activities comply with governance, risk and audit requirements.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships, monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing or category management, preferably in non‑technology categories.
• Proven track record of managing end‑to‑end procurement cycles and supplier negotiations.
• Strong understanding of procurement governance, contract management and supplier risk.
