Project Control Manager

About the role

The Project Control Manager will lead the creation, maintenance, and analysis of 4D BIM schedules, linking time data to 3D models to visualise construction sequences, identify clashes and optimise logistics. The role also oversees comprehensive baseline scheduling, progress updates and strategic reporting for complex civil works projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain logic‑linked baseline schedules (CPM) using Primavera P6 or Synchro 4D Pro.
• Produce regular progress updates, executive summaries and risk analyses for senior management and clients.
• Establish and enforce standards for planning documents, schedule updates and progress reports.
• Identify process improvements and implement automation solutions, such as integrating P6 data with Power BI or custom APIs.
• Review, test and evaluate emerging project management platforms, 4D/5D BIM software and site‑tracking tools.
• Drive adoption of AI and machine‑learning tools for predictive scheduling and automated progress tracking.
• Maintain a change matrix, evaluate variations, claims and significant project events.
• Document lessons learned and maintain a historical database for future bids.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of construction industry standards and project control principles.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate complex scheduling activities.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills for communicating with diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights.
