Project Engineer – Building Management Systems

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our team in Singapore, focusing on Building Management Systems (BMS) for data centre projects. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering aspects of BMS installations.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in conceptual and detailed design of mechanical, electrical, and BMS engineering works.
• Assist the manager with project planning, budgeting, cost control, and execution.
• Coordinate with main contractors and subcontractors for BMS installation.
• Supervise subcontractor teams to ensure workmanship meets required standards.
• Prepare site progress reports, method statements, and other project documentation.
• Ensure timely hand‑over of projects while maintaining high quality and cost effectiveness.
• Review installation drawings and manage non‑conformities.
• Resolve technical issues during installation, commissioning, and testing.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Preferably up to 2 years of relevant project management experience; fresh graduates are also welcome.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
