Project Manager (Data & AI)

About the role

NCS is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Data and AI initiatives. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams to deliver data‑driven solutions that align with business objectives and strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor end‑to‑end Data & AI projects, including scoping, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Define project objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts.
• Ensure compliance with governance, security, and data‑management standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project communications, providing regular updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and change requests, driving continuous improvement.
• Coordinate and motivate cross‑functional teams, removing blockers and prioritising work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• 5–10 years of project‑management experience, with at least 2–3 years on data, analytics or AI projects.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional technical teams in agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Project‑management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile preferred.

Required skills

• Understanding of data lifecycle management, data platforms, analytics tools and AI/ML concepts.
