Purchasing Manager

About the role

The Purchasing Manager will lead procurement activities for Sunset Hospitality Group, ensuring the acquisition of high‑quality equipment, goods and services at competitive prices while supporting the company’s global hospitality portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Forecast demand for products and services, monitor stock levels and maintain optimal inventory.
• Research and select suppliers based on value, delivery schedules and quality.
• Negotiate short‑ and long‑term contracts, monitor performance and ensure timely delivery.
• Analyse price trends and their impact on budgeting and future purchasing strategies.
• Prepare market analysis presentations and recommend cost‑saving initiatives.
• Evaluate quotations, considering commercial and technical factors.
• Supervise and train procurement staff.
• Manage re‑ordering processes, specifications development and quality assurance for purchased items.
• Oversee shipping, handling and storage to guarantee receipt of high‑quality components.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or supply‑chain management, preferably within hospitality or related sectors.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and budgeting abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers, internal departments and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage contracts, assess risk and ensure compliance with sustainability and ethical standards.
