QA Engineer – Mobile & TV Apps

About the role

Rakuten Viki is looking for an Associate Engineer/Engineer, QA (Apps) to ensure the quality of its streaming applications across mobile and connected TV platforms. You will work with a collaborative engineering team, testing iOS, Android, FireTV, Roku, Samsung and LG apps while gaining exposure to media streaming technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, write and execute test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
• Set up test environments and test data required for each test cycle.
• Identify, log, troubleshoot and track bugs to closure.
• Write basic UI automation tests to increase coverage.
• Provide test results and quality metrics for each release.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and design teams to align testing efforts with project timelines.

Required profile

• 1‑4 years of experience testing applications (fresh graduates welcome).
• Strong attention to detail and quality‑focused mindset.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements in an agile environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
