Quantity Surveyor (Junior Executive)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team on Jurong Island. You will work closely with subcontractors, suppliers and internal project stakeholders to ensure accurate cost control and smooth project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders for timely communication.
• Prepare accurate documents for Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Open Tender processes.
• Assist the Project Contract Manager with quantity surveying activities for sub‑contracts, works orders and purchase orders.
• Administer project documentation, including interim valuations, pricing, contract variations, claim submissions and final accounts.
• Source suppliers and subcontractors, compile price comparisons and summarise costing data for procurement decisions.
• Evaluate and certify progress payments based on milestones and contract terms.
• Interpret specifications and building drawings to support cost control and compliance.
• Prepare detailed budgeting and costing reports to monitor financial performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of quantity surveying experience within a main‑contractor environment.
• Experience on Land Transport Authority (LTA) or building projects.
• Bachelor’s degree, Post‑Graduate Diploma or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
