Regional Finance Manager – Singapore

About the role

This is a hands‑on, high‑visibility finance position based in Singapore. You will own the preparation of monthly management reports and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) financial statements for the Singapore HQ and the wider consolidated group, while acting as a trusted finance partner to regional and HQ leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of accounting activity, ensuring accuracy of the general ledger, journal entries and closing cycles.
• Drive month‑end and quarter‑end close independently, meeting firm reporting deadlines.
• Review and reconcile balance‑sheet items, intercompany balances, cash and loan positions.
• Coordinate with outsourced accountants and local finance contacts across jurisdictions.
• Deliver monthly management reporting packages on time and to a high standard of accuracy.
• Convert local financial data into a consistent SFRS‑based group reporting format.
• Lead the quarterly consolidation of group financials, managing intercompany eliminations, foreign‑currency translation and consolidation adjustments.
• Maintain a clean audit trail and proactively identify opportunities to improve system setup and automation.
• Act as a finance business partner, challenging data submitted by local teams and providing analytical insights on revenue, costs and KPIs.

Required profile

• Self‑directed professional comfortable working autonomously in a multi‑entity, multi‑currency environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to shape reporting infrastructure as the group grows.
• Experience partnering with senior leadership and delivering finance insights beyond routine reporting.
• Proactive attitude toward process improvement and control enhancement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Prophix for reporting, budgeting and consolidation.
• Solid knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Expertise in month‑end close, intercompany eliminations and foreign‑currency translation.
• Ability to consolidate multiple legal entities and international branches accurately.
