About the role
The College of Computing and Data Science at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is seeking a Research Associate to conduct cutting‑edge research on AI applications for quantitative trading and financial investment. The role involves developing novel AI solutions, testing their effectiveness, and publishing the findings.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research and literature review on AI for quantitative trading and financial investment.
- Develop a new AI solution to find the optimal trading strategy.
- Run experiments to verify the efficiency of the designed solution.
- Analyze data acquired from field surveys and make comparisons.
- Write research papers to report the results.
Required profile
- Preferably a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Sufficient experience and knowledge in finance.
- Excellent teamwork and verbal, written communication skills.
- Independent, highly analytical, proactive and a team player.
- Demonstrated capability to conduct innovative research.
Required skills
- Computer programming.
- Software Engineering knowledge (a plus).
