Research Fellow – AI‑Aided Wireless Security for 6G

About the role

The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at NTU Singapore seeks a Research Fellow to advance AI‑aided wireless security solutions for future 6G communications. The Fellow will focus on one of three research streams: AI‑enabled secure RF design, low‑detectability/covert transmission, or RF‑fingerprinting based device authentication.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct original research on physical‑layer security for 6G, including theory, algorithm development, simulation, and hardware‑in‑the‑loop experiments.
• Identify patentable outcomes and complete patent application documentation.
• Publish high‑quality papers in peer‑reviewed venues.
• Assist in drafting and submitting research grant proposals.
• Co‑supervise undergraduate and graduate students.

Required profile

• PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Communications, Signal Processing, RF/Microwave Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong publication record and hands‑on experience in at least one of the listed research areas.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
