Reservations Officer / Hostess – Hospitality

About the role

The Reservations Officer/Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests at SUSHISAMBA, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience. This role combines front‑of‑house hospitality with proactive reservation management and revenue‑maximising techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, escort them to tables and present menus.
• Manage the waiting list and allocate seating according to brand guidelines.
• Receive, record and confirm dining reservations.
• Maintain clean and organised tables and work areas.
• Follow all Reservations department procedures and processes.
• Identify upselling opportunities to increase revenue.
• Review daily reservation reports, handle no‑shows and cancellations, and process related charges.
• Coordinate closely with the Reservation Team and other departments to ensure smooth communication.

Required profile

• Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in a similar hospitality role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team‑player attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Required skills

• Experience with the Seven Rooms reservation system (preferred).
