Reservations Officer

About the role

Mandarin Oriental, Singapore is seeking a Reservations Officer to join its Reservations team. The role involves managing room sales through phone, email and online channels while ensuring accurate and timely information is provided to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email and online booking systems.
• Enter reservation details accurately into the property management system and send booking confirmations.
• Update, modify or cancel reservations as required.
• Provide guests with information on room availability, rates, hotel services and promotions, and offer personalized recommendations.
• Capture billing information at booking, process deposits, pre‑payments and final payments in line with hotel policies.
• Monitor reservation levels to avoid overbooking and collaborate with Front Office and Revenue Management teams.
• Maintain accurate records of all reservations and cancellations and prepare daily occupancy reports.
• Respond to guest inquiries, concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, sales and marketing to ensure smooth guest experiences.
