About the role
The Resident Physician provides first‑line clinical coverage in a hospital setting, managing routine and complex cases while supporting junior doctors. The role involves active participation in outpatient clinics and assisting with procedures or operations under senior supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver first‑line clinical services and manage a range of patient cases.
- Handle more complex cases and provide guidance to junior doctors.
- Assist in the operation of outpatient clinics.
- Participate in procedures and surgeries as permitted by senior physicians.
Required profile
- Active clinical practice with a basic medical degree registrable with the Singapore Medical Council.
- Post‑graduate medical qualification (e.g., MRCP) registrable with the Singapore Medical Council.
- For Resident Physician: minimum 3 years experience as a Medical Officer (post‑housemanship) or equivalent in the relevant specialty.
- For Senior Resident Physician: minimum 7 years experience as a Medical Officer/Resident Physician or equivalent in the relevant specialty.
