Sales Development Manager – Upstream

About the role

The Sales Development Manager, Upstream will drive sustainable growth of upstream bioprocess solutions across Singapore or Taiwan. Working within the Process Solutions commercial organization, you will partner with sales, field application scientists and strategy teams to translate regional priorities into actionable business plans.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop strategic upstream business opportunities, focusing on new business, seeding and competitive conversions.
• Translate regional growth priorities into concrete action plans with sales, FAS, RSE and broader PS stakeholders.
• Present the company’s upstream portfolio to customers through in‑person and virtual engagements.
• Evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on strategic fit, commercial potential and customer needs.
• Collaborate on prospecting, qualification and nurturing of opportunities such as competitive conversion, new product introduction, product adoption and IA‑to‑GMP conversion.

Required profile

• Strong upstream bioprocess expertise.
• Commercial insight with ability to understand and anticipate customer needs.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with sales, application scientists and strategy teams.

Required skills

• Upstream bioprocess knowledge.
• Cell line licensing.
• Custom media development and manufacturing.
• Understanding of differentiated services and solutions in life‑science environments.
