SAP BTP Developer Associate (Junior)

About the role

PwC is seeking a motivated fresh graduate to join its consulting team as a Junior SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Application Developer. You will work alongside experienced consultants and developers to design, build, and deploy cloud‑native applications that support digital transformation for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and deploying cloud‑native applications on SAP BTP.
• Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Build and consume REST APIs and integration services.
• Support side‑by‑side SAP extensions following clean‑core principles.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and performance optimisation activities.
• Learn and support integrations with SAP S/4HANA and external systems.
• Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps processes using version‑control and deployment tools.
• Explore AI‑powered business solutions, automation, and emerging technologies.
• Ensure applications follow security, quality, and coding best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field (fresh graduates welcome).
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and Node.js development.
• Hands‑on experience with web application projects through academic work, internships or personal projects.
• Understanding of REST APIs and basic backend concepts.
• Familiarity with Git or other version‑control systems.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn SAP technologies, cloud platforms and AI concepts.
