Secondary Mathematics Teacher

About the role

Dover Court International School is seeking a dedicated Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join our inclusive, British‑heritage community. You will teach a diverse cohort of students aged 13‑18, delivering IGCSE/GCSE, International Baccalaureate, and BTEC mathematics programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging mathematics lessons across the IGCSE, GCSE, IB and BTEC curricula.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a varied student population, including those with additional learning needs.
• Contribute to co‑curricular activities and school events, often leading maths‑related clubs or competitions.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide timely feedback to learners and parents.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and fellow teachers to uphold the school’s inclusive ethos.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with recognized certification to teach secondary mathematics.
• Experience teaching IGCSE/GCSE, IB or BTEC mathematics in an international setting.
• Commitment to inclusive education and the ability to support diverse learners.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of IGCSE/GCSE mathematics curricula.
• Familiarity with International Baccalaureate Mathematics programmes.
• Understanding of BTEC qualifications and assessment methods.
