Security Monitoring Analyst

About the role

ESET is looking for a Security Monitoring Analyst to deliver security monitoring services for assigned customers and environments. You will work closely with global teams, providing early‑warning threat intelligence and helping to protect our clients from emerging cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Perform security monitoring services for assigned customers and environments.
• Deliver “Early Warning” services using the ETI (ESET Threat Intelligence) platform.
• Optimize and tune threat monitoring systems.
• Analyze security threats and evaluate data on potential threats.
• Prepare internal and external reports and communicate incident details to customers.
• Contribute to the development of new monitoring technologies and the ETI reporting system.
• Provide cybersecurity consulting and recommendations to external customers or via online forums.
• Work with malicious code detection systems and conduct in‑depth malware analysis.
• Continuously educate yourself on cyber‑security trends and share knowledge with the team.
• Transform new threat knowledge into product and service improvement proposals.
• Design and improve security service processes and create operational instructions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Forensics, Information Security or a related field.
• Prior experience in cyber intrusion detection, investigation and analysis.
• Relevant cybersecurity certification (advantageous but not mandatory).
