Senior Accountant – General Ledger (Rolling Contract)

About the role

Moët Hennessy is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its General Ledger team on a 12‑month rolling contract. Reporting to the Manager, General Ledger, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records and support timely reporting across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and reconcile balance‑sheet accounts.
• Execute month‑end close activities, including variance analysis and preparation of related reports.
• Maintain and review ledger entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage fixed‑asset accounting and support audit processes.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects such as User Acceptance Testing and change‑management communications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve unusual transactions.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of accounting experience, preferably within US or European multinational corporations.
• Strong background in General Ledger accounting in complex, multicultural environments.
• Highly motivated with a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAP ECC.
• Knowledge of Excel macros.
• Familiarity with Power BI.
• Understanding of IFRS accounting standards.
