Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join a fast‑growing asset‑management platform. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will lead full‑set accounting, month‑end close, financial reporting and support finance transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/SFRS.
• Manage general ledger, month‑end and year‑end closing activities and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Coordinate audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
• Maintain accounting records for investment portfolios, funds, SPVs and holding structures, including NAV calculations and fund performance reports.
• Support investment acquisitions, disposals, capital transactions and collaborate with fund administrators, custodians and investment teams.
• Ensure compliance with MAS regulations, tax filings, GST/VAT submissions and regulatory reporting.
• Develop management reports, board papers and financial analysis, providing insights on portfolio performance, cash flow and risks.
• Drive adoption of AI‑enabled finance tools, automation platforms and business intelligence dashboards to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and Chartered Accountant qualification.
• 6‑8 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably in asset management, private equity, real‑estate funds or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/SFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with ERP systems, accounting software and advanced Excel.
