Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join the finance team of an SGX‑listed Real Estate Investment Trust and its Special Purpose Vehicles. Reporting to the finance leadership, you will be responsible for end‑to‑end financial reporting, regulatory compliance and day‑to‑day accounting for a cross‑border property portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare full set of accounts for the SGX‑listed REIT and its non‑listed SPVs, supporting periodic and ad‑hoc financial reporting.
• Manage day‑to‑day accounting tasks including journal entries, payments, month‑end close, variance analysis and assist with group consolidation.
• Prepare and support corporate tax, GST and other statutory filings to SGX, MAS and IRAS.
• Liaise with overseas finance teams (U.S./EMEA), trustees, auditors, tax agents and the unit registrar.
• Ensure compliance with SGX, MAS and corporate statutory requirements and maintain strong internal controls.
• Assist with pre‑ and post‑acquisition processes, tax structuring, funds‑flow coordination and alignment of acquired financials for consolidation.
• Participate in system implementation projects and other ad‑hoc finance initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience; Big Four candidates at associate or senior level are welcome.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and practical application of IFRS.
• Proven ability to deliver high‑quality work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
• Team player who can work independently and across functions, levels and geographies.
