Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting activities for our subsidiary entities in Singapore and across Asia. You will lead month‑end and year‑end closings, prepare group consolidation schedules, and ensure statutory compliance for multiple international entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for subsidiaries.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes across multiple entities.
• Maintain group consolidation schedules, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and consolidation entries.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, tax regulations, and filing requirements in each jurisdiction.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and support transfer‑pricing documentation.
• Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements under IFRS or US GAAP.
• Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including time at a Big 4 firm.
• Experience managing accounting for overseas entities and group consolidations.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP/accounting systems such as NetSuite, Sage 300, QuickBooks.
• Excellent analytical accuracy and ability to meet competing deadlines.
• Self‑motivated with strong stakeholder management skills.
