Senior Analyst (Cyber Threat Intelligence)

About the role

The Senior Analyst will lead 24/7 threat collection and analysis activities, delivering early warnings on emerging cyber threats and potential data breaches. This position plays a critical part in strengthening the organization’s situational awareness and defensive posture.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing projects that fulfil operational requirements for threat‑collection activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse malware samples and assess their impact.
• Procure, develop and implement technical solutions that enhance threat‑collection capabilities.
• Conduct continuous research to stay current with threat developments and maintain access to relevant information sources.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior officers within the branch.

Required profile

• Education in Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline (preferred).
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.
• At least two recognised cybersecurity certifications or qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of open‑source intelligence collection methods.
• Solid understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and malware behaviours.
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
