Senior Barista – New Concept Coffee Shop

About the role

The Senior Barista will lead the coffee experience at our new concept outlet, delivering consistently excellent beverages while mentoring the barista team. This role blends expert coffee preparation with hands‑on equipment management and customer‑focused service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso‑based drinks, specialty coffees, and seasonal beverages according to company recipes.
• Calibrate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other brewing equipment to ensure quality and safety.
• Engage with customers, recommend drinks, handle orders, and process payments with a friendly attitude.
• Manage inventory of beans, milk, syrups, and related supplies, ensuring continuous stock levels.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and comply with SFA hygiene standards.
• Stay informed about menu items, promotions, and seasonal specials to guide customer choices.
• Upsell pastries, snacks, and merchandise to boost sales.
• Assist in other operational areas such as cashiering, cleaning, and kitchen coordination when needed.
• Train and coach junior baristas, sharing expertise in brewing techniques and latte art.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years or more of barista experience, preferably in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid Food Safety Level 1 certificate.
• Strong knowledge of coffee extraction, grinder and espresso machine calibration.
• Basic latte‑art ability.
• Positive attitude, team‑player mindset, and genuine passion for coffee.
