Senior Frontend Engineer – Data‑Intensive Scientific UI

About the role

Elemynt is building an AI‑driven platform for scientific research. As a Senior Frontend Engineer you will own the user interface of a data‑heavy product, turning complex scientific workflows into intuitive, high‑performance visual experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement interfaces for configuring, launching, monitoring, and analysing scientific research workflows.
• Create interactive visualisations of 3D structures, simulation results and other large scientific datasets.
• Profile and optimise rendering performance and memory usage to keep data‑dense views fast as datasets grow.
• Maintain a library of reusable, extensible frontend components with clear documentation.
• Collaborate with backend engineers on API contracts, data models and asynchronous handling.
• Work closely with research scientists and product stakeholders to translate requirements into insightful UI solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience shipping production‑grade web applications.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and modern reactive frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte, etc.).
• Proven experience building data‑dense, interactive products such as analytics platforms, scientific software, or complex dashboards.
• Solid skills in performance profiling, memory optimisation and testing.
• Product‑driven mindset with a focus on usability and problem solving.
