Senior Full Stack Engineer (Platform APIs)

About the role

Plaud is looking for a senior full‑stack engineer to lead the design and implementation of its core backend and platform capabilities. You will work on the Plaud Developer Platform, enabling partner and third‑party integrations while shaping the next generation of human‑AI interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Own the design, development, and delivery of backend services and platform features for the Developer Platform.
• Apply and enforce best practices in OAuth 2.0 authorization, access control, and multi‑tenant architecture.
• Build and maintain standardized APIs, SDK interfaces, and developer onboarding workflows.
• Collaborate with product, device, and AI service teams to deliver cross‑system solutions.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate documentation, testing, debugging, and code review.
• Identify and lead improvements in platform stability, performance, and developer experience.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of backend engineering experience, preferably focused on platform or API development.
• Proven track record of designing and shipping developer‑facing APIs or SDKs.
• Ability to work independently in a complex, multi‑system environment with ambiguity.
• Strong communication skills and comfort driving alignment across teams.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with OAuth 2.0, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Expertise in API development and SDK creation.
• Experience with multi‑tenant architecture design.
• Solid backend engineering skills.
