Senior Manager, Integrated Communications & Media Strategy

About the role

The Senior Manager will lead the development and execution of integrated communications and media strategies for the organisation. Reporting to senior leadership, this role combines corporate storytelling, executive positioning and crisis management while overseeing external agency partners.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and manage external PR, media and creative agencies to deliver multi‑channel communications aligned with commercial and brand goals.
• Leverage local and regional media networks to pitch compelling narratives across lifestyle, entertainment, trade and corporate press.
• Act as internal account director for C‑suite leaders, securing speaking opportunities, thought‑leadership placements and award submissions.
• Design and implement proactive and reactive crisis response frameworks to protect corporate reputation.
• Collaborate with government agencies, tourism authorities and corporate sponsors to ensure consistent public‑facing messaging.
• Establish measurement frameworks and media performance metrics to assess coverage sentiment and business impact.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in PR, communications or media strategy, preferably within a media/PR agency handling fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder accounts.
• Proven track record working with public‑sector or government entities.
• Strong relationships with local and regional media outlets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging diverse media networks and stakeholders.
