Senior Software Engineer – Full-Stack (TypeScript/Next.js)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, build and maintain full-stack applications that enable digital transformation of airport operations. You will collaborate with product managers, business users and technical stakeholders to turn operational challenges into secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and translate them into technical plans, milestones and production-ready code.
• Lead the architectural design of full-stack applications, covering frontend (Next.js, Tailwind CSS), backend APIs, data models (MongoDB), authentication, authorisation and deployment strategy.
• Develop prototypes to validate concepts, reduce risk and ensure user desirability.
• Write clean, maintainable TypeScript code and own the end-to-end lifecycle from implementation to monitoring and support.
• Ensure production reliability through observability, failure handling and operational readiness.
• Investigate and resolve application, integration and infrastructure issues.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in performance, security and maintainability.
• Communicate technical decisions, risks and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven ability to work autonomously in ambiguous environments and make sound technical trade-offs.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with engineers, product managers and senior business leaders.
• Experience delivering full-stack solutions in fast-paced, mission-critical settings.
