Senior Solution Architect – Air Traffic Management

About the role

Thales is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of cutting‑edge Air Traffic Management solutions for its TopSKY‑ATC (HE) product in Singapore. The role focuses on defining, stabilising and maintaining solution architecture throughout the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define innovative technical solutions that meet customer requirements while aligning with Thales’ product and system strategy.
• Analyse architectural choices to balance customer needs, cost, risk and technical feasibility.
• Explore alternative architectural concepts, perform trade‑offs and document decisions.
• Conduct early validation through modelling, proof‑of‑concept activities and technical performance measurements.
• Develop architectural viewpoints, system breakdowns and interface definitions, coordinating internal and external contributors.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in solution architecture for complex, safety‑critical systems.
• Proven ability to work across the full solution lifecycle, from concept to delivery.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate trade‑offs between requirements, cost and risk.
• Excellent communication skills to lead technical discussions and arbitrate between stakeholders.

Required skills

• Solution architecture methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with Air Traffic Management or related aviation systems (explicitly mentioned in the role).
