Senior Supply Planner

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Supply Planner to lead end‑to‑end supply planning for a defined product portfolio. In this role you will translate demand signals into reliable, cost‑effective supply plans, mentor junior planners and drive continuous improvement across purchasing, manufacturing and distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute accurate supply plans that align with demand forecasts, capacity constraints and financial targets.
• Serve as the subject‑matter expert for the assigned product category, providing guidance and troubleshooting to planners and stakeholders.
• Identify risks in materials, production and logistics and lead mitigation actions.
• Represent supply planning in cross‑functional forums and supply review meetings.
• Coach junior planners on best‑practice processes, system usage and stakeholder communication.
• Maintain master data (MOQ, lead times, safety stock) in o9 and SAP to reflect operational realities.
• Optimize working capital by managing inventory levels and supporting efficient production and purchasing cycles.
• Collaborate with supply schedulers and procurement to ensure timely execution of work and purchase orders.
• Plan product introductions, engineering changes and phase‑outs, coordinating with lifecycle and product planning teams.
• Champion the use of advanced planning tools and analytics, and drive process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a supply planner or similar role, with a strong track record of delivering reliable supply plans.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on balancing service, cost and inventory.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, global supply chain environment.
