Social Care Officer (Islandwide, Singapore)

About the role

We are seeking a Social Care Officer to plan, coordinate and supervise the care and well‑being of residents across Singapore. The role involves organising activities, maintaining accurate records and ensuring a clean, safe environment for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise the care and well‑being of residents.
• Organise and implement programmes and activities to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Conduct regular resident interviews and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor the upkeep of equipment, facilities and the overall environment.
• Ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to address residents’ needs.
• Monitor residents’ general well‑being and escalate concerns when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation relating to residents’ care and daily activities.
• Support the implementation of operational policies, procedures and service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma or GCE ‘A’ Level qualification.
• Relevant experience in social services, residential care, nursing homes or supporting vulnerable individuals is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with residents.
• Patient, compassionate and comfortable working with individuals with different care needs.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good documentation and record‑keeping skills.
• Able to support residents with their daily care needs and activities.
