Software Developer – Angular & Java Spring Boot

About the role

Capgemini is seeking a Software Developer to join its AI‑powered transformation team. The role focuses on building and maintaining modern web applications using Angular on the front‑end and Java Spring Boot on the back‑end, supported by MySQL databases. You will work in an agile environment, leveraging AI‑assisted development tools to improve efficiency and code quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, integrate and maintain features across Angular front‑end, Java Spring Boot back‑end and MySQL database.
• Build user interfaces, APIs, business logic, database schemas and queries, and support system integration.
• Write and execute unit tests for both front‑end and back‑end modules.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with OWASP secure coding practices.
• Support build, packaging and deployment across development, testing and production environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues using AI‑assisted diagnostics.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design and API specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, external partners and ICT contractors in agile delivery cycles.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a software developer or engineer, preferably in agile projects.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Java and/or Python or .Net.
• Solid experience with front‑end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular or React.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI) and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
