About the role

As a Software Engineer III in Asset Management Trading Technology, you will help transform trading by designing, building, and evolving platforms that manage orders and execute trades across multiple asset classes. You will work closely with traders to support critical production applications and deliver automated, high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support critical trading applications in production, interacting directly with users to resolve issues.
• Design and engineer scalable, high‑performance trading systems for diverse asset classes.
• Collaborate with traders to deliver impactful, automated solutions.
• Develop core Java applications for mission‑critical platforms.
• Architect and implement next‑generation messaging and streaming technologies such as Kafka and AMPS.
• Drive technical innovation, including the adoption of GenAI tools in the development workflow.
• Lead code reviews, mentor team members, and ensure engineering excellence.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle and deploy code to production daily.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience designing and building end‑to‑end software systems.
• Strong knowledge of core Java and object‑oriented design principles.
• Experience with messaging and streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and collaborate with traders and quants.
