Software Engineer, Mobile (iOS)

About the role

Google is looking for a Mobile Software Engineer focused on iOS to join its Singapore team. You will help build and enhance user‑facing features for millions of users, leveraging AI‑powered development tools and collaborating with product, design, and engineering partners across the globe.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high‑quality iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to define and implement user‑centric features.
• Integrate iOS apps with server‑side APIs and contribute to full‑stack development where needed.
• Apply testing methodologies and best practices to ensure reliability and performance.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept through release and ongoing maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Minimum 2 years of native iOS development experience (Swift, SwiftUI).
• Proven track record of launching and maintaining iOS applications.
• Experience working in cross‑functional, multi‑time‑zone teams.
• Interest in using AI tools (e.g., Jetski, Gemini CLI) to accelerate development.
