Solution Architect - ServiceNow

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in ServiceNow to design and deliver enterprise‑level solutions. You will work on the RWS IT landscape, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business objectives while driving digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise architecture strategy and ensure compliance with RWS IT principles.
• Align the development of the RWS IT landscape with established architectural standards.
• Participate in the creation and execution of RWS IT strategies.
• Conduct architecture reviews for new systems or changes to existing systems.
• Design and architect ServiceNow‑based solutions and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Lead the Business Services Platform initiative across multiple lines of business.
• Support proof‑of‑value projects to meet business and IT needs.
• Provide technical leadership to project teams on solution design and application development.
• Perform technical design reviews and enforce enterprise‑wide architectural standards.
• Engage stakeholders to ensure solution architecture meets functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Foster strong cross‑departmental partnerships to ensure successful implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT architecture and software development.
• Proven experience with system architecture patterns such as modularity, event‑driven, and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services (X‑as‑a‑Service) from major providers.
• Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
