Strategic Communications Manager

About the role

NTUC First Campus is seeking an experienced communications professional to lead its strategic media engagement and corporate communications. The role focuses on building and protecting the organisation’s reputation through proactive media relations, issue management and strong stakeholder partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute media strategies aligned with organisational priorities.
• Identify newsworthy stories, craft pitches and secure coverage in relevant outlets.
• Manage media enquiries, interview requests and coordinate media visits, filming and photography.
• Prepare media materials such as releases, briefing notes, talking points, FAQs and holding statements.
• Support issues and crisis communications, monitor developments and coordinate appropriate responses.
• Provide communications advice to internal business units and liaise with external partners.
• Plan and deliver corporate events, media launches and stakeholder engagements.
• Project‑manage the annual report, overseeing content planning, writing and stakeholder coordination.

Required profile

• Degree in Communications, Public Relations or a related discipline.
• At least eight years of relevant communications experience.
• Strong understanding of Singapore’s media landscape and established media relationships.
• Resourceful, collaborative and able to work independently.
• Experience in crisis communications, events management or annual reports is an advantage.
