Structure Engineer

About the role

CTCI Singapore is seeking a Structure Engineer to lead the technical engineering of structural systems for semiconductor Front‑end FAB facilities. You will be responsible for design, analysis, construction support, and multidisciplinary coordination to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with local codes.

Key responsibilities

• Design reinforced concrete (RC) structures, steel structures, platforms, pipe racks, equipment foundations and supporting structures for FAB projects.
• Perform structural analysis and calculations for loads, strength, vibration, seismic resistance and other requirements.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, calculations, specifications and construction/shop drawings.
• Verify foundation, anchorage and load requirements for process and facility equipment.
• Coordinate structural interfaces with architecture, process, mechanical, electrical, piping and facilities teams.
• Manage RFIs, design changes, construction issues and technical matters on site.
• Monitor quality of steel works, RC works, welding, anchors and equipment foundations.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore building, structural, seismic and safety regulations.
• Assess existing structures, design strengthening or modifications for new equipment and FAB expansions.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Construction or Architectural Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in semiconductor FAB or high‑tech facilities.
• Hands‑on experience with RC structures, steel structures, equipment foundations, platforms and pipe racks.
• Proven ability to read and interpret structural drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Familiarity with Singapore BCA regulations, Eurocodes and, preferably, SCDF requirements.
