Student Care Teacher-Mentor (Part-Time)

About the role

New Life Student Care is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join as part‑time Teacher‑Mentors for primary‑school children (ages 7‑12). You will support students with homework, plan engaging activities, and collaborate with parents, volunteers and staff to foster holistic development.

Key responsibilities

• Classroom Management: supervise students, guide homework, ensure safety and well‑being.
• Activity Planning: design, implement and evaluate programmes and enrichment activities.
• Stakeholder Partnerships: communicate effectively with colleagues, caregivers, volunteers and build positive relationships.
• Administrative Duties: respond to enquiries, keep accurate records and prepare regular reports.

Required profile

• Minimum A‑Level or Polytechnic Diploma with at least one year of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of primary‑school curriculum to assist with homework.
• Passionate about connecting with children and families.
• Service‑oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Team player, adaptable, energetic, responsible, organised and ethical.

• Competitive salary SGD 1,500‑1,800 per month.
• 26‑hour work week (4 days × 5 hrs + 1 day × 6 hrs).
