System Administrator

About the role

The company is looking for a System Administrator to provide onsite preventive maintenance, support cybersecurity platforms and ensure the reliability and security of its IT infrastructure. The role involves both routine operational tasks and participation in major operational events.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite preventive maintenance and standby support after office hours.
• Support and manage cybersecurity platforms, infrastructure and systems.
• Drive system improvements, enhancements, and performance optimisation.
• Identify, remediate and document system vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for patching, upgrades, onboarding and routine maintenance.
• Log and manage support cases with vendors and contractors, coordinating troubleshooting and resolution.
• Take full ownership of incidents and tasks to ensure timely closure.
• Perform periodic health checks, capacity, asset and configuration management, backup and security management.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, client requirements and documentation standards.
• Support major operational events such as power maintenance and disaster‑recovery exercises.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT/cybersecurity operations, managed services or system management.
• Exposure to public sector or large enterprises is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to be on standby after support hours.
