Technical Support Specialist

About the role

ICON plc is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join its Singapore office. You will provide technical assistance for clinical systems, ensuring smooth operation and high user satisfaction. This role combines problem‑solving, system maintenance, and user training in a fast‑paced healthcare research environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve technical inquiries and incidents from users across the organization promptly and professionally.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of software and hardware to optimise performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and implement improvements that enhance system efficiency.
• Deliver training and guidance on system functionality and best practices to improve user proficiency.
• Document issues, resolutions, and work‑arounds in a knowledge base for future reference.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 1‑3 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably within healthcare or clinical research.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
