Technology Audit Analyst – Asia (Singapore)

About the role

Join J.P. Morgan’s Technology Audit Team as a Technology Audit Analyst covering Asia. You will work with cross‑functional stakeholders and audit teams to plan and execute technology and cybersecurity audits across Singapore and other Asia locations, applying rigorous risk and control assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business and technology audit colleagues to identify and assess key risks within the audit coverage plan.
• Execute audit activities—including planning, walkthroughs, testing, control evaluation, report drafting and follow‑up—in line with internal audit methodology.
• Produce high‑quality audit documentation and workpapers with minimal review notes.
• Evaluate, test and report on the effectiveness of technology controls and provide practical improvement recommendations.
• Provide continuous monitoring over key technology programs by building strong relationships with technology leaders and control groups.
• Stay current on evolving industry practices and regulatory expectations affecting the regional technology environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology or a related discipline with at least three years of internal or external audit experience.
• CISA and/or CISSP certification.
• Strong understanding of technology and cybersecurity control domains and ability to apply risk management concepts.
• Familiarity with Asia‑Pacific technology and cybersecurity laws and emerging technologies such as cloud, AI and machine learning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior management.

Required skills

• CISA, CISSP (and optionally CRISC, CISM) certifications.
• Data‑analytics tools: Alteryx, SQL, Power BI, Python, Excel, QlikView, Tableau.
• Knowledge of public‑cloud environments and related security controls.
