VAL Operator Specialist

About the role

The VAL Operator Specialist is responsible for the setup, installation, testing, and maintenance of logistics equipment at DSV. You will ensure rapid response to equipment breakdowns and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform equipment setup, installation, testing, troubleshooting and component replacement.
• Attend to equipment breakdowns, conduct fault finding, diagnosis and recovery.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain related documentation.
• Update spare‑part listings as assigned.
• Liaise with vendors and operations teams to coordinate maintenance activities.
• Assist in continuous improvement projects and guide colleagues on troubleshooting.
• Document root‑cause analysis and daily task updates.
• Handle ad‑hoc tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills for liaising with vendors and internal teams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
