Visiting Associate Professor – Network Security/Cryptography

About the role

The School of Computer Science and Engineering at Nanyang Technological University seeks a Visiting Associate Professor to contribute to its MSc in Cybersecurity – Applied Cryptography program. This short‑term appointment involves delivering graduate‑level instruction in network security and cryptography, supporting the university’s research‑intensive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach one or more courses within the Applied Cryptography track, delivering at least 3.5 hours of lectures and tutorials per week.
• Design and update course syllabi, prepare teaching materials, and develop assessment tools.
• Mark assignments, exams, and projects, providing timely feedback to students.
• Hold regular student consultations and support online learning components as needed.
• Collaborate with faculty members on curriculum development and research initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven record of teaching graduate‑level courses in cybersecurity, network security, or cryptography.
